City Vision Receives Innovation Award from Pioneer Institute Along with MIT

City Vision University has received a Special Recognition Award as a part of the Better Government Competition on innovative programs in higher education. Andrew Sears, City Vision's President said, "We are honored to be selected for this award. Free MOOC Launched on Disruptive Innovation in Higher Education

Udemy LogoAndrew Sears, our President and Executive Director, has turned his doctoral work on disruptive innovation in higher education into a free MOOC with over 5 hours of content available on Udemy, iTunes U, YouTube & Slideshare. Over 1000 people have taken the course on Udemy so far.

City Vision Featured in Forbes

This drew coverage from Forbes online, since it presents an alternative to the expense of more traditional degrees.

"Christians often resist technology," he said. "We are fighting battles against injustice, but are using antiquated tools. It's like the other side has tanks and jet planes, and Christians are fighting with sticks."

New Master's Degree in Technology and Social Entrepreneurship

Masters of Technology and Social EntrepreneurshipCity Vision College/TechMission is announcing a new online accredited Master's Degree in Technology and Social Entrepreneurship. In the past 15 years, we have helped train thousands of people in using technology and ministry. We are excited to be able to turn much of that experience into an accredited Masters program. The program is modeled after Science, Technology and Society programs like at Stanford and MIT, but with a focus on practical application toward ministry and social entrepreneurship.
