Best Practices :: Creating a Tech Plan

Critical for all ministries involving technology is to have a technology plan. Any foundation or donor looking to support the work you do in your community will ask to see your technology plan. We recommend that, if you haven't already, you prioritize this aspect of your organization's long-term planning.

In order to help you develop this critical aspect of your organization's planning, TechMission is now providing 50 FREE TechAtlas memberships to our AC4 members. What is TechAtlas membership? TechAtlas is a web-based planning tool to assess your current technology use and receive recommendations on how to better implement technology use and receive recomendations on how to better implement technology to achieve your mission. The tool will walk you through a template toward gathering data about the technology you are using and what you are using it for, and then move you through the process of development toward a technology plan.

These free TechAtlas memberships are given on a first-come, first-serve basis so hurry now while we still have these free memberships available!

Click here to listen to our instructions (slides 19-22) on how to sign up for your free TechAtlas account.

You can find out more about TechAtlas at www.techatlas.org or by emailing francois@techmission.org.
